DMP takes great pride in our polished chrome and stainless fasteners. Each part is hand polished to mirror finish in are state of the art facility. It then is cleaned ultrasonically until all polishing debris and contaminants are removed. It is then carefully inspected to assure a quality plating or polishing has been accomplished before being shipped out.

About Chrome Our chrome plated fasteners are made from high-carbon alloy steel for a superior strength. All hex heads are grade 8 and all other non hex heads are grade 8 equivalents or defined as “alloy strength”. When installing any chrome fastener it is recommended to use Permabond anti- seize or Permabond threadlocker.

About Stainless Our Polished stainless is manufactured with 18-8, 18 % chromium and 8% nickel for a superior corrosion resistant from road salt, water and other harsh elements. These truly are maintaince free. The strength is equal between grades 2 -3. Stainless is fairly soft and it tends to gall when using stainless on stainless. To prevent this always use Permabond anti-seize or Permabond threadlocker.

About Safety We do not recommend using stainless 18-8 on any suspension items or any place where grade 8 or metric 10.9/12.9 is being used. We suggest using a high strength stainless such as manufactured by ARP in these locations. Shipping We ship daily via UPS ground unless other shipping is determined. UPS does not deliver to Post Office boxes. We will gladly use your UPS account if desired.
Returns We accept all returns on non special orders. Special orders returns can be liable for a 20% restocking fee. All sales are final after 30 days. All returns will be in credit only.
