#PML 9513 Ford Sterling 10.25/10.5 RG, 12 Bolt

PML part number 7086 and 9513 both fit the Ford Sterling 10¼" and 10½" differential. They have different shapes and fin patterns.

Level check hole: The level check hole for this differential is provided by Ford and is located on the driveshaft side of the differential housing.

This PML cover for the big Ford trucks and SUVs has a patterned fin for a custom look. It adds capacity to help lower the differential fluid temperature. Thick walls and gasket flanges add strength to the differential housing and provide a uniform clamping force on the gasket surface for a secure seal.

This rear differential cover fits the 10¼ inch or 10½ inch Sterling rear end found on:

• Ford F-250, 1989 to 2016, some 2017 and newer models
• Ford F-350 single rear wheel, 1989 to 2016, some 2017 and newer models (if you have a Dually, see our Dana 80 cover)
• Ford Excursion, 2000 to 2005

PML makes three different rear end covers for the Ford Sterling 10¼ and 10½ inch ring gear, 12 bolt differentials. They have the same prices but different fin patterns, shapes, sizes and features.

Drain, Fill, Level Check, Optional Temperature Sending Unit

This PML cover has holes for drain and fill. The drain is on the bottom of the cover as shown in this image. The fill hole is on the top. A magnetic drain plug, fill plug and new mounting bolts are provided with each PML cover.

The level check hole for this differential is provided by Ford and is located on the driveshaft side of the differential housing.

A boss on side optionally can be machined for a temperature sensor for an additional cost.

Installations

Customers have installed this PML differential cover on hundreds of Ford F-250 and F-350 trucks and Excursion SUVs.

2017 F-250 Installation

Five R Trucks installed this cover on their customized 2017 Ford F250. They started with the PML cover in black powder coat and painted the top of the fins red to match.

2004 F-350 Installation

PML's differential cover looks great on the back of Kelderman's Screamin' Diesel F-350. The F-350 is a 2004 Harley Davidson Super Duty with Kelderman's custom designed system to lower the bed to the ground. Makes it easy to roll your bike to and from the bed.
