Always check your vehicle to verify differential and clearance. Configurations vary. PML cannot guarantee fitment.

Common gear ratios for the Dodge 9.25 rear axle are 3.21, 3.55 and 3.92.
Included with PML Cover
This PML rear axle cover features drain, level check, and fill holes for easier maintenance. Just below the fill plug, is the level check hole. You fill until the fluid comes out of that hole. Plugs are provided for all three holes. The drain plug is magnetic.
PML includes new hardware with the cover.
Temperature Sending Unit Optional Machining
The cover has a location on face that can be machined for a temperature sensor. The option to have the cover drilled and tapped will need to be ordered over the phone, not on-line, and there is a machining charge. The temperature sending unit will stick out perpendicular to the face of the service. Please call to order or for more information.
Sway and Pan Hard Bars
In 2009, Dodge added pan hard and sway bars behind the differential cover on Ram trucks.
This image shows the stock cover on a 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 4X4 with the ZF differential.
This PML cover has been installed on many of these newer model year trucks although there is not much space. Dropping the sway bar during installation is helpful. See Installations, below.
Sport models have different suspension. This could change clearance.
Configurations vary so check your vehicle before ordering.

These pictures are from Paul who installed a PML differential cover and low profile transmission pan on his 2006 Dakota, 4x4, 4.7L (PML part number 11078). Thanks to Paul for sending us pictures. See more pictures on our facebook page. You do not have to join facebook to view.
2020 Ram Rebel 1500
Britt installed this PML differential cover on his 2020 Ram Rebel. After powder coating the cover a custom red, he installed the PML cover with the stock sway bar. It fit with about 1/8" clearance. For his RMI sway bar, Britt made and installed spacers to make enough space for the larger PML cover.

This installation is on a 2003 Ram 1500 4x4 with the 5.7 Hemi. The owner wanted a custom look so he purchase the as-cast finish and took the PML cover to a powder coater in his area. He selected a texture red powder coat and brushed the powder coating off the top of the fins so they stand out.

2012 Ram 1500
Dodge began adding a pan hard bar and a sway bar behind the stock cover around the 2009 model year for Ram 1500 trucks. We have heard that it is a close fit with the bars.
Images courtesy of www.ramforumz.com. According to the posting, the axle fore and aft movement is controlled by the upper and lower control arms, so the 3/8 inch clearance is not a problem. You might need an account to read the post.
